Four Utah Mothers, whose sons were killed during the Iraq
war, have been invited to join a delegation hosted by
FUTURE, on a humanitarian and healing mission to Iraq.
With the support and cooperation of the Iraqi Embassy, the
Kurdish Regional Government and the US State Department,
The Gold Star Moms, and Iraqi women from Baghdad and
northern Iraq will work side by side to conduct powerful service
projects that will benefit the widows, orphans, shelters and families
of that region.
These mothers are desiring to complete what their sons started.
By uniting with Iraqi Mothers, they hope to help heal a nation by healing families, where mothers are at the center.
As well as working with the Iraqi women, the Utah Moms will spend two days in Kuwait with U.S. Servicemen and women.
This humanitarian and healing mission will take place in late September/early October 2010. Each mom is seeking assistance in fulfilling this mission.
